melissa’s story

In January of 2018, Melissa landed her dream job in a career in merchandising, yet ironically found herself deeply unfulfilled — struggling with chronic depression, anxiety, and a hunger for passion, creativity, joy…and flowers.

Melissa decided it was time to finally answer the call to learn floral design. Flowers had always felt like a secret crush she had never let herself explore, so she started working at local shops & design studios to find relief from her debilitating depression.

After just a few months of working with the healing power of flowers & creativity, her depression started to subside, and her secret crush on flowers turned into a full blown, head-over-heels love affair.

She then decided to set off on her own adventure — and Pepper Rose was born.

It is Melissa’s deepest desire to share the magic of flowers with the world, in hopes that her passion for flowers uplifts & inspires others the way do for her.

Through Pepper Rose, Melissa is passionate about sharing, honoring & celebrating Mother Earth’s gift of flowers through her unique floral art & designs.
